What Is Behavior Based Safety (BBS)?
BBS is a method of avoiding human error and improving workplace safety by observing and analyzing employees’ behavior while they work.

How to implement a Behavior Based Safety (BBS) program?
1) Observation – Need Observer who must have well trained & experience so that How employees perform their tasks on a daily basis he can observed.
2) Checklist- A checklist form can help to focuse on employees’ actions, approaches and attitudes
This checklist could include employee actions and decisions related to ergonomics, personal protective equipment (PPE), tools and equipment, work area, procedures, etc.
3) Feedback – Feedback should be given during and/or after the observation. Praising good behavior encourages people to continue to use these practices.
4) Targets – Some targets that can be applied to your program include reducing potentially accident-causing incidents or getting 100% of employees to use their personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
What Is ABC Model?
A – Antecedent = Training, Procedures, Manual Instructions.
Ex:- Phone ringing while driving
B- Behavior = Habit
Ex:- Answer the call
C- Consequence = Recognition, Rewards, Punishment, Reinforcement
Ex:- Accident due to distraction
