Qualification to become Safety Officer

1. To become a Safety Officer, there should be at least 60% marks in 10th.

3. Apart from all these, one should have any kind of technical degree or diploma.

4. It is necessary to have any type of diploma engineering or degree from any recognized institution.

5. If you want to become a safety officer by doing a course related to the field of safety engineering, then you must have graduation or post graduation in minimum qualification.

Best Course for Fire and Safety

1. Diploma in Fire and Safety

To do this course, you must have at least 60% marks in high school and intermediate, after doing this, after working in the safety field for a few years, the person becomes comfortably eligible for the post of safety officer. The eligibility for this course is that it is necessary to pass 10th or 12th, that too with 60% marks. This is a One Year Diploma Course, after which you can easily enter the field of safety engineering.

2. Post Graduate Diploma in Fire & Safety (PGDFS)

To do this course, the minimum qualification should be graduation, if any student has done graduation, then he becomes eligible for this course, after doing which you can easily get a job in the field of safety engineering. The duration of this course is also one year.

3. ADIS (Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety)

At present, this course has the highest demand, the students who are doing this course, the company is giving them the first priority in hiring. It is necessary for every students to pass Diploma or B.SC at least from any trade then somewhere students become eligible for admission in it.

4. PDIS (Post Diploma in Industrial Safety)

To do this course, the minimum qualification should be at least graduate. But it is not that you are graduate from any stream then you are eligible to do this course. If you have done at least B.E, B.TECH or B.Sc fire and safety in graduate then for this course Become eligible. After doing this you can easily get entry in safety field, that too on high pay scale and any person can easily become safety office.

5. B.Sc Fire and Safety

After doing this course, easily any student becomes eligible for the post of safety officer. To do this course, it is necessary to have minimum qualification 10+2, that too from science stream. The duration of this course is 3 years. Yes. Companies nowadays give priority to B.Sc fire and safety like ADIS, that too on higher salary.

6. NEBOSH IGC or Diploma

There is no need for any kind of qualification to do NEBOSH. For this, training of 15 days is required and after doing this, there is a need to qualify the examination. To say this, there is only training of 15 days of training but its exam is very difficult.

After doing this one can easily get a job but there is a lot of demand for it in foreign countries. There is a lot of difference between the salary of NEBOSH here and the salary abroad, so every student doing NEBOSH gives first priority to foreign.

    I am a graduate from Bsc fire safety from gujrat Univercity..
    But in some organisation suggest me that BSC fire safety is not approve/ legal safety officer as per factory act.

    Is there any proof to show that BSC fire safety is also legal like ADIS/NEBOSH

    please suggest
